Simmental Pen Show January 18, 2025
Simmental cattle originated in Switzerland are one of the oldest breeds cattle breeds in the world. In the 1800s, they were red and white in color and known for their rapid growth and dairy qualities. Today, most Simmental cattle in the United States are black with white blaze faces and not utilized for their dairy qualities. In the female pen show, the animals will be shown and judged as groups.
